Starting in April 2016 : Readings in Tibetan and English: the Heart Sutra
The holy Buddhist text known as The Heart Sutra is the condensed essence of Buddha's teachings of transcendental wisdom, or Prajnaparamita. Starting Wednesday April 6 from 6-7 pm, and continuing at the same time each Wednesday thereafter, Saraha will host teachings and discussions of the Heart Sutra, including word-by-word analysis of the Tibetan language text, and commentary and translations from various English language sources. $5 per session suggested donations. Everyone welcome to attend and welcome to join in at any time.

Ongoing Tues. 6-7 pm Book Group : Current Book : A Cascading Waterfall of Nectar
Join our weekly Tuesday book group from 6-7 pm to discuss an ongoing series of selected books that emphasize the Buddhist view, or philosophical attitude, toward anything. Book group is free and open to the public. Participants should buy their own books, however. Some loaners may be available at the Saraha library. If you have questions about the group, you can email the group leader at info@saraha.org for more info.
The current book under discussion is: The Cascading Waterfall of Nectar, by HH Dungse Thinley Norbu Rinpoche. This book is available in the Saraha library and onsite bookstore.
